Johnny, we hardly recognize ye....

In the past, when the radical Republican right wing began showing their ugliness, John McCain, the maverick, the straight talker, the man who puts country first, repudiated it and said it "would never happen again!"

What has happened to that man?
Why is the John McCain I've admired for his candor and integrity suddenly like everyone else?

This kind of talk and ignoring or, worse, encouraging it, will live with us throughout the next administration, regardless of who wins. Stop them, John! Bring things back to our normal unacceptable levels and not to this embarrassment from our country's past!
